I would give this place 2.5 stars. +Interior design is beautiful. +ambiance is definitely there. -staff/security don't know how to run a show (At Ani DiFranco last night, there was a confrontation between two women that went on for 20+ minutes before security kicked out the drunk women. They were alerted several times by several different concert goers. This wouldn't fly at any other music venue. It was so loud and distracting. There was also a group of girls seat hopping - moving from their shitty seats to the front rows. We paid extra to sit in a special section - which was just the first three rows - and there was no enforcement of ticketing. Big pet peeve of mine. And we walked straight into the venue and no one scanned our tickets. Why even pay? -that's a joke. But seriously. What the heck.). -sound. The sound in that place is terrible. The bar noise comes into the venue and is louder than the performer. Even small whispers in the crowd are amplified. They need to get their acoustics figured out asap. Overall, the venue is beautiful to look at but the actual experience was lacking on many levels. We'll likely give it another shot, I hope it's better next time.
