  • This is a place we always take out of town guests, and I wish more people would visit us, because I can't get enough of the crispy, salty-sweet hotcakes at Pamela's. My partner is partial to the Corned Beef Hash, which even as a side can be two meals (for some people). My mom likes the crepe pancakes. For me it's hotcakes all the way, or if I'm feeling indulgent, the specialty hotcakes, with bananas and chocolate chips. The lyonnaise potatoes are also tasty if you need some additional starch. The coffee generally leaves something to be desired, and it's a bit annoying that they're a cash only joint, but the food comes out fast, and as long as I've got hotcakes in front of me, I'm happy. Expect a wait if you go on the weekend.
