  • I've been in the market for a new hair salon for a while but kept going back to my go-to place, even though I wasn't happy, due to a combination of habit/laziness/fear of change. So glad I made the leap and tried Hair District! Right from the start of the shampoo I could tell this experience was going to be different. Yin shampooed my hair not once but twice and gave me the most relaxing scalp massage I've ever had. When it came to the haircut (just cleaning up the ends), she did exactly what I asked for. She was extremely precise and took her time so that my hair came out perfectly and has really nice movement. She also had helpful suggestions and was just generally friendly and pleasant throughout the whole process. I'm so thrilled that I found this place. As a bonus, they have a student discount if you bring your student ID.
