  • I've enjoyed going to Tempe Marketplace since they had the Wolverine Movie Premiere. That was awesome! It is an outdoor mall. During the hot months, go really early or after the sun goes down for some nightlife. They have plenty of stores to stand in, catch up on some A/C and move on. During the winter time, feel free to come by any time. If it gets a little cold, they have a huge fire pit/fountain lounge area that looks beautiful at night. It lights up with all kinds of colors. This is a good place for shows, local bands, shopping, eating, and just hanging out. I brought my dog here once, cause she loves to go out with me, but I received some weird stares and remarks. I don't think they allow animals there, but why not? It's an outdoor mall and if I keep my dog in my arms going into the store, then she won't do anything. She's a little chihuahua. I did think it was rude for everyone to be so up tight over a dog. Her picture is up on one of the main buildings going into the area. She's famous. Parking is horrible, but get there early or prepare to walk. Like I say, just enjoy yourself and have fun. Go with it!
