My husband and I just recently moved to Sun City and were in need of finding an understanding vet for our golden retriever mix dog that has special needs. We asked people we met while visiting the various dog parks about any vets in the surrounding area and Dr Sinks name came up a few times, always with many compliments to his care and his whole staff as being very friendly and supportive. Their suggestions though also came with a 'But.....' We were told that it was quite possible that Dr Sink was not seeing new patients.
A week after we moved into our new home, right before the Christmas holidays, almost out of nowhere our dog began to exhibit even stranger anxious behavior that had her up all night panting and breathing heavily and pacing the floor.
None of us were getting any sleep, so I made the call and explained the situation to the kind person who answered the phone. We were relieved that they accepted us and gave us an appointment right away to see Dr Sink. Everyone there was so sweet as we entered and waited out turn.
Dr Sink examined our dog and suggested we try this pill that worked to calm most of the dogs it was given to. We tried it and are having some success. During the same appointment, he also gave her rabies booster which would have been due right after the new year so we could apply for our Maricopa dog license.
Through the years, with all of our rescues, we have had vets that were great and we've also had to find a way to get along with the type that are more detached and unfriendly. We say a little prayer of thanks each night that we have found such a wonderful, loving, caring vet and staff once again. Much thanks to Dr Sink and his wondeful staff at Grand Paws!
