DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
I wish I could give this place 0 stars, but I have to give it 1 to leave a review of the HORRIBLE customer service I experienced. I called on my way to California for my sister's funeral (and let the woman on the line know that) to order a birthday cake for my son's 8th birthday tomorrow. Yes, I realize I'm cutting it close, but with a sister in a coma, these things happen. She told me they don't take orders over the phone and I would have to order online or in person. I explained my current situation and that the cake we wanted wasn't available for online ordering. She told me "Too bad, we haven't taken phone orders in 3 years because we don't trust customers to pay." I let her know that when I go to their website a warning comes up that theirs is not a trusted site, so I'm uncomfortable putting my credit card information in. To this she yelled, "You have a problem trusting our website, well I have a problem trusting you! If you want a cake from us come in or don't get one!"
Instead of helping and gaining a loyal customer, she basically told me she didn't trust me or want my business. All while knowing I'm on my way to a funeral. Thankfully Ben & Jerry's at The District was able to accommodate me on short notice. It will be a happy birthday for my son after all. No thanks to Baskin Robbins.
