  • I live in close proximity to the gym and use it mainly for the weight machines. I've been a member since Urban Active and there was a definite culture change when UA left. Cleanliness being one of the major things. For months it was filthy in there. Recently it seems like they have new cleaning people so the overflowing garbage and towel bins are no longer an issue. The biggest problems with the gym are the price and the people that attend. The women that attend refuse to put items back where they found them. There are always weights and mats strewn around the small women's fitness room. It's also very hot in there at all times. It's also a rarity to see people wiping down machines before or after they use them. There is also a small section outside of the women's room, next to the machines to use free weights, squat, and lift. It can't be safe.
