  • Kawa is the new gold standard for espresso bars in Calgary and the country as a whole. Try a traditional cappo, an espresso or a macchiato- all will be made expertly on a Synesso that Kawa's baristas know well enough to get the very best out of. Latte art is superb, peerless. The food is good too- delicious hand-crafted soups (if the goulash is on the menu, try it!) and a really fantastic take on the humble chicken quesadilla that includes zuke and sweet potato, gorgeous, Wines by the glass, original assortment of bottled artisanal beers, and now open until 11 most nights. The perfect urban coffeehouse.
