The beds are comfortable and clean and we had the pool to ourselves (hot tub is working but who wants to go in it in this insanely hot weather anyway?!)
But when we first checked in they put us in a room on the bottom floor that smelled like someone crapped literally ALL over it, then tried to cover it up with that air spray stuff. It was so awful we didn't even make it all the way inside before dry heaving. The housekeeper promptly told us she tried her best to get rid of the smell but someone left cooked beans in the room for two days straight - no cleaning - and she couldn't get the smell out. Well first, open the damn windows in that room and second, try essential oils and time.
We got a new room on the third floor that smelled great but the outlets in the bathroom didn't work, not a single one of them.
Everything else worked and I tried out the room service and it was fantastic! Easy to use and all. Also the hotels location is great for getting what you need.
Now the pool we had to ourselves which was nice but it was also understandable since it was so hot outside. They have NO SHADE by their entirely outdoor pool and chlorine is strongggg. My eyes were burning from the combo of the sun burning the chlorine up into them! When I used goggles i didn't really notice it. But seriously, they need to add some shade to that pool. You're in Arizona for gods sake - people are gonna go up in flames even in the water since the sun made the water quite warm.
