rev:text	Issue: ADA - service dog Date of visit: 11/26/15 My son, his dog and myself were stopped by Jon Freeman (inside my personal space) and he asked two questions; 1)Is that a service animal? - to which I responded, "yes" 2) For what disability? - to which I responded "Depression, but that's none of your business and you are not allowed to ask that questions." - Mr. Freeman visibly took a step back when confronted with my reply and advised me that yes, he could ask those questions and that I answered incorrectly to both, it was his business because he was store manager and the store is his business and that he has taken 12 hours in training in ADA and knows what he is talking about. There are only two questions he is allowed to ask 1) Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? ad 2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform? I am completely offended, angry and both my son and I were embarrassed to be asked what the disability was and felt forced to comply and reveal what my son was going through. The dog was on a short leash, never barked, did not approach any customer or staff member, the opposite in fact happened - staff and customers approached him. He did not sniff around, was not a nuisance and well behaved throughout the visit and never disruptive. Mr. Freeman chose to stand there and argue his point no matter the fact that he should have never asked the second question (although he never completed the full first question either). Mr. Freeman was very obnoxious and even after his "12 hours of ADA training," still unfamiliar with the details.
