This hotel is simply ok. I was actually a little disappointed in our stay to be honest. Check in was a breeze, although we did it late at night. Service at the front desk was fast, friendly and efficient. The lobby decor is ok. Nothing super fancy but nothing terrible either.
We were given a room on the "concierge" floor. I have no idea what that means and frankly I don't think our room was better than anyone else's. It seems like that title is simply a gimmick to make gold and platinum members feel like they are being taken care of.
Rooms are in need of remodeling...or maybe they are just not decorated in my style. I dunno...the rooms seemed outdated. There was no safe, which was extremely disappointing. You can lock your things in a box at the front desk but they can't accommodate computers or purses.
We had an incident where we had a dirty bed. The situation was immediately rectified by the manager and he was genuinely concerned about the issue. He fixed it and made sure that others were aware of the situation so it would not happen again to us or any other guest. I appreciated that.
Fortunately we are gold members so we got fee wi-fi but there is a $9.95 charge if you are not. We were also given tickets to the breakfast buffet which was very good. Service in the dining room was great.
Overall, I likely would not stay here again. It just was not that great.
