  • I went to escape the room last night 5-31-16, with my parents, two brothers, and boyfriend to celebrate my birthday. Overall the experience was quiet fun and it was a good bonding experience. The staff was pleasant and the room we did, the rec room, was clean and well air conditioned. I would have rated the experience higher, but we had a few technical difficulties that hindered our time and experience. One of the clues in the room was already unlocked when we entered, we thought it was supposed to be to kind of get us started, it turns out it wasn't supposed to be. So we spent a good 10 minutes trying to figure out clues that didn't get us anywhere because the lock that those clues unlocked was already unlocked. Plus when we started, the computer in the room needed a password, which we tried to figure out for a good 5 minutes. Then our door opened and a guy came in and said the computer wasn't supposed to need a password it should have been unlocked already for us to take a quiz. So more of our time was wasted there. They said they watched us the whole time so they knew how we were doing, but had they been watching I feel like they would've realized sooner that our computer wasn't ready to go. They ended up opening another clue for us for the wasted time, but again that hindered the experience. Again the staff was pleasant and overall it was a good time, we ended up getting out with 6 minutes and 43 seconds left I believe. It would have been nice to see how quickly we could have done it if the room was set up correctly without glitches.
