  • If you are in the NoDa/Plaza Midwood area and you haven't been here then you are 100% missing out!!! I used to live in NoDa and it took me almost a year to finally check this place out. The location isn't in the most inviting part of town and unless someone has told you about it, you more than likely won't give it a chance. With that being said.... DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT let location or outside appearance be the reason you don't stop here. IT IS AWESOME!!!!! Here are a few quick reason why it is great: everyday $2,$3,and $4 beer specials, bar tenders are nice and friendly, great art and beer signs inside and out, awesome back patio area with corn hole, life size jenga, and other games, and the best bingo spot in town on a Tuesday!! I just honestly don't have anything bad to say about this place! They offer so much. It truly is a "hidden" gem! Bingo on Tuesdays is so fun and the live music is always good. There are free arcade/PlayStation games, and board games available. It doesn't get too extremely crowded so it's a good place to go with a group of friends. Please if you haven't visited Hattie's do it the next time you go out. For real...it's great!
