Long waits, poor quality dirty equipment, and the diy install you are forced to pay for never works. A technician ends up having to come out anyways.
Signed up for cable over the phone and picked up my "new" cable box from the Cox Solutions Promenade store. Upon getting home and removing my "new" cable box from the sealed plastic I discovered the box was heavily used and dirty. The cable box had food in the buttons and grease all over it. No exaggeration.
I was told when I picked up the box a Cox employee would stop by my house the following day to activate the cable on the outside of my home and leave a note on the door. That never happened either.
After spending over an hour on the phone with tech support I was told that the Cox Solutions Promenade store had given me the wrong box and it would not work. They offered to send a technician out in two weeks to replace it.
Overall very poor experience, Cox is lucky they have a monopoly on cable internet in Arizona or I highly doubt anyone would deal with their consistently poor customer service and sky high prices they are known for making even higher on a regular basis.
