  • "When David and Yannick left their posts at Splendido, all disciples worried that nothing could compare. Wasted worry. Nota Bene opened in 2008 and is still catering to refined tastes of all varieties. The front of house is equaly marred in perfection as the belly of the beast (the kitchen of course). Although I still maintain that David's kitchen gave birth to the best bread (second only to NY's Balthazar), they now offer patrons Thuet Bakery bread that is akin to many a boulangerie in France.
