  • I accidentally bumped into an SUV hitch cover @ 15mph last fall = fairly large gash on my Scion's front bumper cover. So I wasn't terribly happy to get it replaced. I made sure to do some research on where to get it replaced because I knew it would be expensive to replace the entire thing + paint and labor. I started communicating with Crystal at BumperDoc a few months ago [like in Feb-ish] via email when I first had some free time & money to get estimates. I didn't begin emails back up until about a month ago to actually get an appointment scheduled as my schedule had cleared enough to not have a car. It was clear from the beginning I would have to give my car up for part or a full weekend. Wasn't much of a problem since I live relatively close to BumperDoc and my family has a spare vehicle I could use for a few days. BumperDoc requires you to pay ahead of time for any part [to ensure you're actually going to have them do the work]. They can take payment over the phone. Once my appointment was scheduled and the part ordered, it was a piece of cake! I just had to hand over my car key, and they would let me know when the car would be ready. Note that if you want a new bumper cover painted & installed, you need to give them 2-3 days, pending on how long it takes the paint to dry. I dropped my car off Friday afternoon and picked up Monday afternoon. It looked just like it was driving off the car lot in 2009- absolutely beautiful!! Crystal's team did some additional work on my car without asking, and I really appreciate it. The frame piece connected to my driver-side front light was cracked/broken from a previous minor fender bender [darn #Snowpocalypse weather in Indiana] and her dad used their apoxy glue to mend it together. They also cleaned my front lights [also something on my to-fix list] because they were a little... mangy looking after my ~1800mi cross-country drive to AZ last year + what I've been told is "normal" wear in tear in the desert setting. So they basically killed 3 birds with 1 stone. Could not be happier with how my car looks and IF something happens again [pray it doesn't!!], I'll be sure to support this small family-business again.
