We stopped here on the way to Death Valley. We knew they had outdoor seating so we assumed we could eat with our dog. When we got there they said they did not allow dogs in their outdoor seating area. I don't fault them for that; we should have checked. I need to remember that not everywhere is as dog-friendly as the Bay Area. So we got takeout instead. We shared the fried chicken and eggs, bacon, potatoes and biscuit ($14 or so) and the blueberry pancake ($9). The portions are monstrous. The pancake came in (and filled) a pizza box. However, the food was just not that great. The pancake was too sweet and also very dry. I didn't think the fried chicken was bad but it wasn't great. My husband liked it even less than I did. The eggs and potatoes were similarly mediocre. The biscuit was pretty awful.
It's the sort of place that I would probably try again if I lived in Vegas. Perhaps we ordered the wrong thing or perhaps takeout is not as good as in-restaurant dining. But based on our meal I don't think it's a destination place.
