  • I loved coming here when I was a kid with my family or on a school field trip. It was always so much fun. The place has changed a lot since then but I think it has only gotten better! And they have an OmniMax movie theater which just might be one of their best attractions. Among the others are exhibits on wild life, the human anatomy, technical and futuristic sciences, and more! They even have an old submarine which is one of my personal favorites. The cafeteria is lousy and expensive..but hey..you are there to witness science not chow! Parking is very reasonable. It is situated close to Heinz Field, PNC Park, and Rivers Casino too! If you visit Pittsburgh with your kids make sure you take them here. They will love you for it. That's a promise. And if you're a Pittsburgh native and haven't taken your kids here yet then shame on you!
