  • This review is in regards to a defective water heater. It was placed brand new by this company that was contracted by my home warranty company. Not even a year later the unit caught on fire and I have tried to work with both my home warranty company on this and this company that installed it. However, MNS plumbing since I have reached out to them on August 18th has not resolved this serious issue. I am standing firm that this brand new unit should be under warranty and I called the manufacturer myself to confirm this. However, this unit has no indications of a serial number that is needed for a warranty claim. MNS Owner says they don't have any listing on their end of a serial number and declining they installed the brand I have in my home that they installed. I was home during the service from your company and I have the written paperwork from this company. Their paperwork doesn't indicate the brand or serial number and my home warranty company has relayed they no longer have a contract with MNS. So my valid point is why am I paying for a new unit from this faulty one and no one has the serial number and its no where on this unit? MNS indicated they will need to send a tech over my place to view the unit, I immediately responded; send them over right away - I'm available. That was a week ago with NO follow up! I have indicated to the owner of this company of my disappointment and I only hope they make it right. It's been a mess and I had electricians that came out to disconnect the faulty unit and recapped the wires. The water heater was leaking into the electrical. I had to pay the electricians and plumbers for their services and replacement of another new water heater. No serial number on the unit was verified by both the electricians and the plumbing company. I declined to pay for the disposal fee to rid of the defective water heater and it's still sitting at my home for MNS to view and take care of this. This was a serious issue. The unit had a fire and thankfully my home was not affected and no one was injured. I am greatly disappointed on how both my home warranty and MNS has gone about this. Let's see what happens now that I have sent them my follow up email and have placed this review. Do the right thing.
