  • I bring my Xterra in to have the Radflo coilovers checked/filled with nitrogen. The dude has difficulty getting the gauge onto the valve. Shock fluid running down all over the cv boot. and sway bar (all that was required was to turn the steering wheel then rotate the coilover to obtain necessary access) Says it's because whoever installed the coilovers put them in upside down??? (They only go in one way). Says he set the regulator to 250 psi and hopefully it will only leak down to 200 by the time he removes the hose from it. Says in order to put the oil back in, the coilover will have to be rebuilt. Thanks, a 3 year old, $800 set of coilovers needing sent back to Radflo to be rebuilt for about $220 (rebuild plus shipping for both, no sense in doing just 1) because I WAS TOO STUPID TO SPEND $250 AND BUY MY OWN N2 SETUP. Now the front passenger side suspension sounds like a 96 Dodge pickup clanging down the road. This is the reason you do everything possible yourself. At least they only charged me $10
