| - This is no-frills Indian Food off the strip. The food is good, but I've had better. Of all the things we ate, the rice was excellent, flavorful and perfect. The Mango Lassi was a standard lassi flavored from a can, and nothing special. The potato pancakes (Aloo Tikki) were excellent, but could have had more spice/flavor. I enjoyed the eggplant-potato (Aloo Baigan), but asked for medium spice and got no spice at all. Meanwhile, the chicken tikka was asked for with no spice and got medium spice. The chicken was very tender and flavorful.
The service is a little bit slow, and there were a couple of times that the wait was long enough for service to get our order taken/between sources that we had to flag a waiter down (the restaurant wasn't busy).
I would have liked to see a place that had a more comfortable/upscale feel - it was pretty divey.
All in all, the food was okay, and I could be tempted to go again for some cheap-o Indian food. It could be better though, and with a variety of choices to choose from, I'm much more likely to go somewhere else.
