I just had dinner here with my fiancée. We had high expectations since it was rated decently and we weren't able to make reservations.
Service was fast but the food is salty and lacked originality. We ordered 5 dishes to share and only one impressed us - the Kamo Tataki. The duck was nothing we've tasted before for a duck dish so that gave our tastebuds a surprise and the apple salad complimented it very well.
The mushroom omelette was very greasy and half of it was burnt. I couldn't believe the chef would let that go out of kitchen. The short ribs was overdressed making it extremely salty. We sat there waiting for more water from all the sodium but no one came by to fill our glasses.
Trying it once is all I'd do, onto the next Izakaya venue.
