  • Well they are finally open! Vineyard Vines is named after Martha's Vineyard and their logo appears on all their clothing as an elephant. They have clothes for men, women, and children. Much of it is sportswear, but they do offer some nicer things. Also in honor of their opening they have Pittsburgh based merchandise such as Tees and half zip sweatshirts which are in men's sizes but can be adapted to anyone. Course this place is a bit pricey but a saleslady by the name of Kelcey helped me find some end of summer bargains at 30% off. They have a couple of fitting rooms and it was a good thing that I came early because there was a line waiting to use it. If they don't have your size they can order it for you. Kelcey explained to me that everything was preshrunk even though some of the clothes are pure cotton. I ended up with a cotton flannel shirt, a nice navy sweater with stripes which I can put over layers, and I settled for an I love Pittsburgh tee with the "elephant" symbol in the place of the word love. This place is worth a look at if nothing else. They are located on the bottom level of Ross Park Mall a few doors down from Tiffany's and near where the pop up American Girl is set to open soon. Clothes seem to be durable and was pleased with the customer service. I also like how they have the register area under what looks like a schooner. Will return when the occasion warrants it.
