Food still good. Had the Lupes enchiladas. Good texture of tortillas....not too thick not too thin. The beans were creamy and the rice is always well seasoned. Sopapilllas were super hot and flaky....always great doused in honey.
Service tonight was so awful.
"how many in your party? Four? Ok follow me".
Then sits us at a two top. But then seats us somewhere more appropriate after we say again...4.
No water. Margarita with salt was brought out without salt. Wife's cocktail had agave syrup which she asked to not have. Then the other part of the drinks...she originally wanted one of their cocktails that had mint...but they were out of mint. My buddy wanted a Tecate or Tecate light. But no, they were out of that too.
She brings us our check but my dish came with sopapillas so I had to ask for them. And to top it all off, she just really acted like we were asking too much of her to do her job.
We're frequent diners of Frank and Lupes. Hopefully this was just a one time thing.
