  • Pellet ice! $1 candy! Three tickets and snacks for less than $20 TOTAL! I have no idea why it took me so long to try the Gem, but I am 100 percent sold. My children and I today saw the newest "Pirates" movie and had a wonderfully retro movie experience in downtown Kannapolis at the Gem. Before the movie started, they showed a Tom & Jerry cartoon as well as the singing, dancing popcorn concession clip. So cute! Reasonably priced concessions, crazy cheap tickets ($3 per person before 6p) for first run movies and there's a balcony! We'll be going back for sure.
