  • Treasure did my hair. I will post photos. I wanted a root touch up and some more golden color in my ombre. I was adamant that the bright blonde not go any higher than my shoulders. I clarified this three times. When I was done, I said that the blonde was still higher than my shoulders, in fact there wasn't any difference to my hair at all. She knew I came in out of town for my brothers wedding the next day but offered to reschedule me to fix her mistake a few days later. When I left I realized that my roots didn't match! This is the first thing you learn in beauty school...I even told her to use a 3N! So I didn't want her to do my hair again but if that was the only option then so be it. I went into my appointment and asked to speak with her privately, addressed my concerns, and asked if it was possible for a refund. She said yes and that the owner is the one who issues refunds and she'd have her call me. The receptionist also made a point to note she would have the owner call me. I grabbed a card just in case and five days later still no call. I text her and she's very kind, says it's the first she's hearing of it and will have her management team call me. So Shawna calls and is nice for a second and then gets extremely rude. She swears she's claiming she's being nice but she's interrupting me, and starts yelling about how I was inconsiderate for not texting the stylist so she wouldn't have had to come in on her day off. How was I supposed to know that? She says there is no refund policy and that I was "clearly told" that their policy is have the stylist or another stylist redo it within seven days. I understand this policy but no one ever explained it to me, including Treasure when I let her know I wasn't happy with my hair. I am not one to get mean, I was nice for as long as I possibly could be but finally I'd had enough of her rudeness, claiming she was only defending her salon. She was also insinuating the reason I had a problem was because I couldn't afford to drop $160 down the drain on hair that doesn't look any different than when you started. Yeah for some of us that sucks but it's not even about the money at this point. It's about her trying to claim this was somehow my fault and being that person who claims they're being nice when they're obviously not. Those are the worst kind of people. What a nightmare. I doubt anyone has read this far but for what it's worth, Treasure was a sweetheart and all stylists make mistakes. I just wasn't up for round 2 with a mistake like that..perhaps if someone had told me about their policy I would've made a different decision and been giving this place 5 stars. Who knows. Also the salon is beautifully decorated. I really do hope the best for them but my rating is my honest experience and that manager is just not nice.
