| - This was my first time going to Sir Ed's after hearing quite a few people recommend it. I had heard that there were a good number of vegetarian option, especially for a pub. I would say that that part is true.
I ordered the stuffed zucchini and was not very impressed. The sauce was a marinara, but it was watery in texture, and very salty. I also couldn't really tell if the zucchini was stuffed with anything else of substance. I feel like they halved the zucchini, cut the seeds out, cooked it, and poured sauce over it. Even my college roommate had more talent than that.
On the other hand, my mom ordered the Quinoa, Spinach & Roasted Vegetables, which she let me try and I thought was pretty decent. It still wasn't overly impressive, but it looked like more effort had been put into the creation of the dish than mine.
The service was fine... nothing to rave about, but not terrible either.
I feel like this place is going to be hit or miss depending on what you order and when you go, which is reflected in their mixed reviews. Not sure I would bother to go again honestly.
