| - Just so you know, I am an adrenaline junkie!
I joke about this a lot, but it doesn't take me much to wake up and get going. Which is why I avoid caffeine at all costs, as it has a tendency to exacerbate my condition of staying awake for days.
I've sky-dived (tandem only, so far. Maybe take an AFF, eventually), bungee jumped, raced cars, raced crotch rockets, jumped off of many cliffs, and done many other risky things that I am really surprised that I am still alive.
So, when I got this as a birthday gift. I was ecstatic.
I had a few wimpy friends caution me about this, as they HEARD that you can break your neck and slam into the glass with this.
All right! Now, we're talking. That definitely gets my juices flowing.
Yes, there is some danger associated with this, but the instructors are there to ensure that you are comfortable and not doing anything that could potentially cause you harm. Just listen, pay attention, and a few minutes will pass by so quickly. Then you'll wonder how come you have to stop!
Skydiving typical takes about 5 minutes to freefall. For indoor skydiving, I was given the 10 minute package. The sensation is very different, but this is so much safer, and is a great intro to the "rush!"
Speaking of rush, I never felt rushed or ushered along in this process. The staff were so helpful, and guided me through their process.
There were customers of many ages, and everyone walked out of there with big smiles on their faces.
I know I did. Now, I just need more birthday gifts like these so that I can get my skill level up!
