| - Wide assortment of Asian foods, well organized, and clean. This is definitely where I'd recommend shopping for any Asian dishes you plan to prepare.
Yuh-Wah has foods from China, Japan, Korea, India, Vietnam, and other countries. They even have some Spanish goods. Comparing prices for the same international goods to other grocery stores big and small in Madison, this place is less expensive.
Things I liked included the large variety of hot sauces, soy sauces, and sauté sauces for Korean BBQ or Chinese BBQ beef. The store also has a solid collection of ice cream flavors not found elsewhere in Madison such as Lychee, Avocado, Guava, Thai Tea, Ube (Purple Yam), Green Tea, Matcha, Red Bean, Black Bean, Taro, and Coconut. I loved the Green Tea ice cream I bought and enjoyed the Red Bean ice cream bars. The beverages here are typical of those you can find at Asian grocers in bigger cities. These include: Capico brand, Ramune brand, and drink flavors such as dragon fruit, coconut, and grass jelly. The Chiao Kuo lychee drink was super refreshing, but a tad sweeter than I'd want on a regular basis. Of course, they also have lots of dried teas; common ones including jasmine, green tea, and black tea. Some of the snacks I like that are available here are hot'n spicy seaweed, Pocky, and rice crackers. These are just an assortment of items they have here, but there are plenty more. I like this place much more than Asian Midway market and it's at top of my list when I need some Asian groceries.
