I tried to buy an 8 dollar bottle of wine. While I was at the register an underage person I know started talking to me. I am 26, the kid was 18. He just happened to see me and was saying hello. The clerk told me he could not sell to me because we were at the register together. I understand his concern, but I went to the register with an 8 DOLLAR BOTTLE OF WINE which I brought to the register by myself. He told me he could put me in jail if he wanted to. If I was buying alcohol for a minor, why would I bring them in with me? Why would I buy him an 8 dollar bottle of wine? He was right by law to turn me away, but he should use his head. Exclaiming that he could throw me in jail was uncalled for. I will NEVER buy from this store again.
