| - I have been waiting until I received my final bill to leave this review because honestly, I have no idea what management is capable of. Mainly because they do absolutely nothing and are impossible to get ahold of unless you actually GO IN the office. The property is beautiful. Nearly exactly how it's pictured online, it's such a shame that it is so mismanaged and poorly treated.
I'll start with parking. There is none. I'm not exaggerating at ALL when I say more often than not one of our household vehicles had to be parked across the complex (if there was parking out there), in front of the office (outside the "security" gate) or in the Circle K/QT parking lot(if you wanna risk being towed) If you have more than one vehicle then be prepared to fight for spots, even the illegal ones (like they actual patrol or do anything about it) like in front of the dumpsters, garages or fire ones. Many times someone was parked in my assigned spot and I called towing only to be told I need a tow card, which I never received. So there was nothing that could be done. There's been a motorcycle parked on the line between two spots for nearly 2 months and nothing was done.
On to the cleanliness. There's trash and poop EVERYWHERE. I have pictures dating back over almost 2 years of someone letting their dog pee on the walls (3rd, 2nd AND 1st floor) and leaving bags of dog poop at the bottom of the stairs. Maintenance doesn't pick it up and neither do the tenants, it'll sit for days and it just reeks throughout the breezeway. Countless times I was told that they would come and power wash to get rid of the smell, it never happened. They just stopped answering and returning phone calls.
The safety of the property is nonexistent. It's advertised as a non soliciting community and there were at least four occasions in my last MONTH there that people were knocking on my door selling magazines, the Lord and some type of book club. So you can imagine what the other almost 20 months were like. The gate is constantly broken, not that it does much anyways. I've watched people give it a small push and can get right through. My husbands car was broken into, as well as mine being tampered with, and nothing was ever done. Talked to other tenants and they too had issues with their cars being broken into. There are constant parties and no matter how much you complain about noise, unless you call the cops, nothing is going to be done.
Management is useless. Brent wasn't the BEST, but at least when I had an issue it got fixed, even if it took a few days. Whoever the new lady in the office is is very sweet and tells you everything you want to hear but......useless. I had high hopes when she and I spoke for the first time and she said she was "fixing the problems at this property!" Starting with sending out a newsletter that DID come......2 weeks later. NOBODY answers the phones, I had to go multiple times in a day to the office on different occasions to retrieve boxes (which I was never notified I had outside of emails from FedEx, the screen they use in the mail room has been broken for almost 6 months & they don't email or update your tenant profile to let you know.) and the ladies seem generally disinterested in anything that has to do with their actual job.
This property is so mismanaged & disgusting. It really is such a shame they don't seem to have EVER been able to get it together, no matter how many times they change the office employees, because the grounds really are beautiful and the apartments are super modern and new. The maintenance guys were nice though, so....there's that.
