  • Given they are one of the few 24 hour vets your options are very limited and they know this. Extremely high prices and a vet who gave us three different possible diagnoses within a matter or minutes --- maybe he got stung by a scorpion, I think he broke his growth plate (after taking an X-ray) so the specialist will need to see him, the radiologist says no break but maybe its arthritis (he is a 10 week old puppy) .. thank you can we just get our puppy back and take him to our own vet .. well we really think you need to see a surgeon for the possible broken growth plate (after being told the radiologist said it is not broken ... $458 later I just want me records so I can take him to my own doctor but they won't send the X-rays because it is more convenient for them to have me pick up a disk and well technology doesn't always allow us to send files ???? Just be warned, I felt like maybe we got a new vet who didn't really know what she was doing and we wasted a great deal of money and run around time. I will not use them again
