| - Best. Meal. Ever.
Seriously though, Craftsteak has far surpassed any other fine dining establishment that I have been to. From the service, to the drinks and food, everything was 5 stars all the way. Marvin and the rest of the team of servers gave great attention to our table. They helped us to select cocktails, wine, and scotch and thoroughly went over the menu with us.
We went into Craftsteak thinking that we'd each split a meat, side dish, and dessert with our significant other. However, Marvin changed our lives by introducing us to the Chef's Beef Selection. The Double R Beef tasting was right up our alley. We were able to enjoy bread, 4 appetizers, 4 meats, 4 side dishes, and 5 desserts for $125 per person. SOLD!
Our eyes widened and our mouths hit the floor as soon as the food began arriving at the table. Everything-- and I mean everything-- was perfectly cooked and delicious. I had to force myself to stop eating the Prosciutto appetizer so I would have room for the rest of the meal. The Filet was so tender, it melted in my mouth. I also enjoyed the grilled Rib Eye, very nice char and perfectly medium. The Risotto and White Corn Grits were so filling and comforting, I only wish we had a refrigerator in our room so I could enjoy it the next day.
Last, but certainly not least, the desserts. The moment I had been waiting for. Who gets excited about desserts at an award winning steak place? This girl does! I perused the menu months ago and was immediately drawn to the Monkey Bread Pudding. This dessert gave me LIFE. Although we were beyond full from the entree course, we finished every last bite of all 5 desserts. Not to mention, I was "In Love with the Coco" with my Coconut cocktail.
Overall, I left this restaurant with one of the best dining experiences of my life. Looking forward to future visits!
