| - I am visiting PHX for the first time in many years and I assumed there would be no decent Asian places since they are very few Asians here in general, luckily I was wrong.
The menu is vast and oddly includes some Italian entrees (despite owner being from Japan), and we get bread/toast prior to getting our Japanese entrees.
I got the cold beef noodles cooked medium rare, they were soft, not too chewy, and the cold noodles were slightly on the firm side, just how I like them. The noodles were served on top of some spinach which was kind of odd in a Japanese dish though.
The spicy tuna rolls were just 3/5, ok rice quality, fish was very average, overall not that exciting.
For PHX this is great asian food, I would come back here again if I come back to PHX.
However, it still doesn't compare to NYC or LA ramen places though.
