I found my experience with this provider to be very unsatisfactory an unprofessional!!! I went for my annual exam on July 25th. At the time of the visit and per office policy I paid my co-payment of $40.00. Upon my return on July 26th, Nevada Eye Care requested an additional $25.00 for them to release my prescription for corrective lenses. Indeed, these additional costs were never disclosed to me at the time of my original visit and were contrary to their own policy of "All Co-Payments" are due at time and prior to your appointment. Subsequently, I requested all of medical records on July 25th and they were promised to be ready in the afternoon on that date. However, as of this writing (August 1, 2012) I have still not received my requested medical records and Dr. Casey has not returned my call for 7 days. This type of treatment is not acceptable!!! Frankly, I'm certain that these types of deceptive practices which occurred to me have happened to other patients too. Therefore, if you can't trust the messenger, you can't trust or believe the message. We place our trust and belief in medical professionals an expect them to be professional. This type of experience only further diminishes the public trust and confidence in medical professional. Accordingly, I would strongly suggest all other persons seeking medical eye care strongly consider an alternative provider other than Nevada Eye Care!!!! Very unprofessional and unethical in my opinion!!!
