  • After reading multiple reviews about the differences between Echo Canyon and Cholla, my friend and I decided we wanted to try out both. We went up Echo Canyon and down Cholla. We parked our car on Invergordon, near the Cholla side and took an Uber to the Echo Canyon trail head. From there it took us about 3 hours to fully complete the whole camel. I'm not going to say it was easy, but if you take your time at your own pace, you should be able to complete it with the overwhelming feeling of success! We were lucky enough to be greeted with Camelback Santa and a large decorated Christmas tree at the summit! Santa had candy canes that he was handing out as well as dog treats! Note, just because you're following someone ahead of you doesn't mean they know where they're going. Stay on the trail and trust your instincts on paths and boulders that you know you can reach and climb!
