This was our 6th time here in about 6 years. We stopped coming to this place because one of the servers (older male with short grey hair and goatee) was arrogant. We ventured in today because we didnt see him working. We had a couple of pints and ate, the food is alright not superb but alright. We were served by a nice guy that moved to Toronto from Australia, the service was excellent, the place had about 20 people in it and he was managing all of us plus the bar. Then in walked the server we don't really think should be working in the public due to his arrogance. He had brought the The Roy sponsored softball team with him. The good service then suddenly went downhill, the server we had started to serve all these ball players and at the same time some other server had arrived for his shift but was lost in the dust. The server we don't really care for then started working the tables? Leaving his ball team players off to the side. Our table and others were ignored from this time forward in fact, we had to pile up our dishes on the table to get attention. This was our last visit to the Roy. We'll stick to the other irish pubs near by like the one at Broadview and Queen with the exceptional service and great food.
