Alamo may have the longest rental lines in all of Vegas. Not only that, but the customer service reps move at a snails pace, oblivious to the world around them!
We came here on memorial day weekend and had a reservation for an economy car. When we landed (a few hours late), a customer rep kept screaming "out of cars. If you don't have a reservation, we can't help".
When I finally got to the counter, the amount the rep was charging my credit card was close to double the price on my confirmed reservation. She started getting an attitude UNTIL I showed her the email with rate clearly printed in the text box. She then disappeared without saying a word. 15 minutes later, things were fixed. Or were they?
When I made it to the upstairs rental car lot, there were NO rental cars. There was NO customer representatives. And there was NO help. I finally spoke to the lady at the gate and she said "take any care you want, in any stall".
We got a Buick and didn't need to return the car with gas... Thanks awesome gate lady!
So 1 star for service but 5 star for the awesome gate lady!
