  • This weekend was absolutely jam packed with friends, fun and firsts. One of the firsts I speak of is a trip out to Race City. Two of my friends race motorcycles and yesterday was race day. I was at the track from 9am to 3pm (I've got the tan to prove it) and I had an absolute blast! What a perfect way to spend a Sunday! I was very impressed with Race City. I paid $10 the entire day. $10 to get in and park my car, and then the rest of the day I hung out with my friends and watched a slew of races. While I was there, there were races happening simultaneously. On one track there was motorcycle racing and on the other track there was car racing. Between the two, I was set for a full day's entertainment. In the down time between races, you can grab a bite to eat at one of the food joints (there are a few on premises serving pizza, burgers, hot dogs, chips, ice cream, etc.) and if you're a hard core fan, you can even purchase some Race City swag at their vendor booths. Personally, my favourite thing to do during the down time was just hang out with our friends - the racers that I had come to support. I also made my rounds checking out all the competitors' *beautiful* rides (cars and bikes alike). Race City is the perfect place to spend your weekend. You get a tan, you get to spend quality time with quality people and hey, where else can you get that much action on a Sunday afternoon?!?!? ;)
