Came here last year and had a shitty experience with the owner when I ended up getting a day pass to climb with my friend. The gym itself is super nice and has a lot of bouldering options. I tried to bargain a little bit for shoes since I was going to buy a long term membership and needed some new shoes, the owner got super intimidating and started acting really degrading towards me. I didn't go back for awhile until a few months later when my friend was doing a competition at Focus and I decided to show up to support him, one of our friends who was also having his first experience at this gym also came to the competition and ended up trying signing up for a membership. Came back to me a few moments after leaving to try and sign up and said this; "That guy who owns this place is a total dick".
Don't really think I need to add anything to that, but I do want to say the rest of the staff is fantastic. I don't want to help a business owner who can't handle the basic concept of common courtesy or respect towards customers. I was about to buy your overpriced shoes and a year membership, and you get offended because I asked if you could do a bit better on the shoes when I'm about to give you literally almost $200 for just the membership.... Gross.
