You have to know what you are going here for. Delicious donuts in a small town feeling donut shop. I grew up on Spudnuts. We used to stop here in the 90's before Sunday School. Nostaligia? O for sure. Before we even walked inside, I could smell that signature donut smell that just makes you know it's Spudnuts.
The inside makes you feel like you were in a bar, except it's a donut shop. People reading the paper and casually drinking coffee and eating a donut. A hang out spot. The interior hasn't changed since the 90's, heck, probably since before then. But that is part of the charm. We ordered a glazed twist. It tasted very fresh and so good. Sweet and unhealthy but made me feel good. We also ordered a coffee which was pretty average.
Not Dunkin' Donuts and not some fancy hip donut spot. But Spudnuts. I'm so glad this place still exists after all these years.
