  • Having heard so much good press about this chain of bakeries I finally had a chance to try it. We bought a six pack of hot cross buns and mini cinnamon buns. Nice to see a bake date on each package. Ok I wasn't that impressed with the cinnamon buns. While they looked good I found them to be dense and heavy. I could barely taste the cinnamon. On the plus side they were not overly drenched in sugar which I appreciated. On to the hot cross buns. We order the 'traditional'. These fared much better. They looked and tasted very good. The bake on these was perfect. Interior was light and not heavy like some I've tried. Overall a nice hot cross bun and delicious with butter! Establishment appeared clean, service friendly.
