rev:text	Birthday ruined. When we arrived to Fast Lap they were temporarily closed due to track repair. We waited close to an hour in the parking lot for them to reopen. Upon entering we were prepared with all of our paperwork. We had called the night prior to make sure there were no special events scheduled and that they were open to the public so we could guarantee my boyfriend would be able to go kart on his birthday. Come to find out, after we had already purchased tickets, that the employee lied to us and Fast Lap is closed to the public all weekend. They had a party scheduled for 3pm, but due to the track being temporarily closed we witnessed the party come and go. The track was absolutely empty besides my small group. All the other associates had to say was that the employee we spoke to was new and there was nothing they could do even though the party that was scheduled had left leaving the place empty. They put a giant dampener on my boyfriend's birthday.
