I would suggest that instead of only looking at test results (which can be inaccurate) you actually take the time to hear what patients are saying and how they're feeling. I went in yesterday at 8 AM with a 101 fever and felt miserable. It came on suddenly but I was told "You have a cold" and was given a 1 day work excuse. I've had colds and don't go to Urgent Care when I do. Being a massage therapist I physically can't perform my job with a fever (she said the fever would go away in a few days but gave me a 1 day work note) so I asked for the following day off just in case. The PA agreed but then said I needed to follow up with my Dr. Last night my fever got up to 103 and I was put on Tamiflu by another Dr who said the rapid flu test is 50% accurate and I had the flu. Thank god I didn't follow the advice from your clinic because it could have turned out really bad. Thanks to the Dr not at your clinic that prescribed Tamiflu to me late last last night I'm starting to feel better. Will not be back.
