  • My wife and I contacted Anna from Desert Sun Realty to look at a unit. We needed a new condo as soon as possible, because of AC issues in our current one. We went and saw the unit, and we took an application to fill out for the unit. We told Anna that we are going to fill it out and drop it off, and put our 30 days notice in to be able to move in to it ASAP. We go home to fill out the application, and we stopped at our current realtor to give them our 30 days notice. Then we went to drop off our application at Desert Sun. We don't see Anna, we spoke to the woman at the front desk. We give her the application and go to pay for it, and are told that the condo was shown to someone else and an application was dropped off JUST before we dropped ours off.... So we end up not getting the condo. My wife called Anna and talked to her about another condo opening up next door to the one we didn't get. She said she knew we needed a place within 30 days and we would be first on the list to get it as soon as the tenants moved out in ~2 weeks. 2 weeks went by and we hadn't heard from Anna. My wife called and didn't reach her. My wife called again and didn't reach her and left a message. My wife called the office asking for Anna, and then told that Anna was busy and would return our call as soon as she was done. No call. A few days later, my wife tries calling Anna again and leaving another voicemail. She calls the office again and Anna is "still busy" and will get back as soon as possible. She calls my wife back this time, and says "I haven't forgot about you guys, the tenants moved out yesterday and I should have the keys by tomorrow". "Tomorrow": No word from Anna still. My wife calls her again and now Anna says "I won't have the keys because the landlord has them and I have to wait until he gives them back to me" with no ETA and none of this making sense, since landlords tend to want a new tenant in as SOON as possible. We wait another day and my wife calls again and not getting a hold of Anna. Calls the office again and asked if she can be helped by anyone else, if there are any other listings available and she is told to "go check the website and see if we have anything else". Really? We have been ignored and pushed off and in need of a HOME, and can't get anyone of you to do their JOB and assist us. Long story short, if you want someone to care about your HOME and helps you find it, look for a DIFFERENT real estate company. There are a few other real estate companies in Boulder City to choose from. READ the other reviews. Constant complaints of being ignored and no responses.
