Thank you to Jessika P and Yelp for telling me about this! It was an amazing and totally unique experience. The class is limited to 10 people, and my class of 7 had yogis of all levels from someone who had never done it before and 2 people who brought their own mats. I've been doing vinyasa yoga for a few years now, and would rate this as a beginner's class. But take this class for the overall relaxing/meditative experience, not for the workout itself. I can't explain the feeling of calm and well-being - its really a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
A few random notes:
-look on the hotel website for the number to call to sign up. there's not much info on the website, but it does give you the number to call for reservations
-there's only 1 class offered in the morning per day
-mats, towels, water are all provided so just show up wearing something comfy
-you have access to the mirage spa facility afterwards, and they have a small but nice sauna/soaking tubs/steam room set up. I wished I had brought a bathing suit to take advantage of it. they have lockers, and fruit/coffee/spa water with lemons too.
-the class is $50 and worth every penny
-bring a camera/phone to class with you as you'll have a few mins after class to take photos. the lighting is tricky in there so it wont be the clearest, but you'll have some silhouettes of people/dolphins in the background
