I'm a retired nurse.
I saw Dr. Hunter Friday Nov 17, 2017 for gum pain. He told me "he didn't see anything wrong" without even examining my mouth. I told him that I had a pustule on my gum over the weekend and I thought that I needed more antibiotics. Dr Hunter ask me if I saw a neurologist because when I saw him before he said it was nerve pain. I told him I haven't seen a neurologist yet. I tried to explain the pain and my gums were swollen and my partial (fake teeth) didn't fit.
Dr. Hunter said he didn't see anything wrong, and said "to see my dentist and get fitted for another partial" without examining my mouth. He was sitting on the side of me and rubber necking around me and not examining my mouth like a professional dentist.
I got my partial out my purse and attempted to show him that it didn't fit. Dr. Hunter said it look like it fit to him, I couldn't even get it completely on my gums. It was obvious he had some kind of issue with me because anything I said he verbally shot it down!
I had severe pain in my gums and Dr. Hunter acted as if he did not care and had the nerve to ask me what "I wanted him to do?"
It would have been nice if he just did his job!
I pay for my insurance and I do insist on-quality care!
I told Dr. Hunter that I wanted another Dr. His reply was 'I'd be more than happy to refer you to another Dr." and stormed out the room. My gums were still swollen so I decided to squeeze it and bare the pain. Pus came out of my mouth!
I used peroxide and water to rinse out my mouth to clear the infected area. I really did not want my bone to get infected.
My mouth is still infected!!! I squeeze puss out of it every day.
