  • I was taken here on my 23rd birthday by my close friend. He is a very very well to do investment something or other downtown. i am a lowly, entry level environmental engineer. Its the most expensive bar i have ever been in (and i lived in dc for four years, the land of expensiveness). 14 dollars PER 8oz drink. Its crazy. I just don't have the budget for it. The only reason i got to go there was that the bar owner is best friends with my invtiee's parents. He gets his drinks for free. Ups: They actually SQUEEZe, and MAKE, and MIX all natural real ingrediants into every drink RIGHT infront of you. The Citrus whole fruits on the bar are not decorations, everything you drink taste like a whole farm of tastes. its amazing. Its amazing. Its worth it for those that can afford it. UPS: they brew their own root beer, which is an art and a lost form of loveliness that we all should drink. I really really really really reccomend it. The Waitress was very nice to me at all times, however i was with someone she knows as a friend, so that might have swayed it. i am sure, from the feel in the bar, and the atmosphere, she would have seen the thriftyness in my eyes the second i had come in alone. I just didn't feel comfortable. Its a BEAUTIFUL, HIDDEN LOCATION. But its too rich for my blood. I will enjoy it from a far.
