| - On Friday I made an appointment after seeing their flip sign on Arizona Avenue for introductory massages for $25 - I made two separate appointments at the same time. While on the phone I thought it was a little unorthodox that the receptionist didn't ask if she could put me on hold for a moment, she just clicked over and said "hold while I help someone else." I thought it was a little rude, but I just rolled with it. When she came back on the phone she said the office only does massages on Tuesday, all day, and Saturday without being ask about scheduling (it was like she had a script she wanted to get out and that I was wasting her time by calling). I made the appointment for Tuesday - the only time they had available was in the middle of the day - but because the office is relatively close to my house, I thought it really wouldn't present a problem.
Tuesday came and a half hour before the massage was scheduled, one of the masseurs called to say she had to cancel... a half hour before the massage. She gave the number of the other masseuse to call, as I had wanted someone else to come along with me, and with one appointment cancelled, we needed to cancel the other. When I called the other masseuse (the one who'd not cancelled), she was a little surprised that the other had cancelled so abruptly on us (and apparently she didn't even know the other wasn't able to work).
I'm so disappointed with the service and the rude phone skills. I work in real estate and have the chance to recommend services to those who need them - I can guarantee now, especially with so many offices offering similar massage service, I will NOT be referring business here!
