I was here to have new tires that I purchased on tirerack.com installed. The tires shipped directly to them, and they were able to install them the same day. I didn't even call until I knew they were delivered, and they were able put them on with such notice. I don't think I was there longer than 45 minutes. That's the good.
Installing includes balancing the tires. The tires are balanced, and they ride smooth. But there are a lot of weights on the rims. 3 of the tires have 2 weights, a small one and about 180 degrees around, a much larger one. I don't know much about balancing tires, but usually I have just one weight on a wheel. That's the bad (and its not really all that bad.)
I don't think they used any paper floor mats in the car. I had a good bit of grimy dirt from on my floor mat. They have a single, shared bathroom with a broken flusher (a bunch of plastic ties sticking out of the tank that you have to pull up to flush) and no soap. That's the ugly.
